If the sanctuary claims to work for the conservation of the species then there should be some guarantee that the animals will one day be released into the wild.
Not only is it highly unlikely that they would be able to survive, their comfort around humans can lead to incredibly dangerous encounters. Facilities that encourage you to take selfies with wild animals are also another HUGE red flag. This activity is solely aimed at exploiting the animals being held captive for profit. Now that you have learned the truth, it is your job to help inform others! If there are no tourists to pay for photos with tigers, these facilities would not exist!

The part that I have trouble with is your last statement going forward. I am not making any judgment opinion just a statement with food for thought which challenges me.
If tourists stop paying these facilities wont exist… great…. If they cant pay the bills best case the tigers get sold to zoos which will probably be worse conditions, black market or private otherwise euthanized.
Should we boycott and sacrifice these tigers to a worse fate in the hopes of avoiding future generation of tigers being bred in captivity? The reality is its a simple matter of math and money which Theres just not enough good people to invest and take a financial loss which would have to be the case to provide a better living condition for the animals.
Truthfully, you boycott these facilities and zoos the tiger will go extinct. Is it ok to prevent natures path of extinction by keeping the animals in zoos or domesticating them? My opinion is no you should let nature take its path except when its the human race and their greed that is the root cause of the path to extinction. You can pet them, hug then and even take pictures with these big cats. Much as these big cats are well trained and tamed the trainers are there to guide people on how to behave around the tiger.
The trainers can also move the tiger around and change their positions so that the visitor can take a better photo with the cats. If you are not brave to get into the cage with these magnificent cats, you can watch them from a far — from the restaurant.
The Tiger Zoo restaurant has a view over the cages where you can catch these tigers being fed, playing, as well as resting. As you might have guessed, the most popular tigers at the Tiger Kingdom Phuket are the cute cubs.
